Went to the Cafe Nuba (http://www.cafenuba.com/) slam at Denver Library last night, if you don't know about slam and it's roots or how it's connected to HH, check it out.

Denver is big on the slam scene and has some big names makin moves out of Nuba.
Slam, like any other written verse, is about self expression and making a statement. Hip Hop is poetry to music and slam is poetry to the beat of the human heart.
Saul is comin back to the CO in November at the Fox- his music is a little crazy, but check dude out- he is by far the dopest visionary in the field.
